Bogmalo is just another small fishing village, surrounded by a pair
of palm fringed headlands at the northern end of Colva bay. The
presence of the sandy beach at the end of the cove makes it even

and not too crowded, the water reasonably safe for swimming, and

One can reach Bogmalo by bus or taxi from Vasco da Gama which is
around 8-kms northwest. It is also near to the airport.The railway
station and the bus stand both lie only at a distance of 9 kilometers
